Yadgir: There is nothing wrong in handing over the Dharmasthala case to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The NIA probe will unravel the larger conspiracy and bring out the truth, Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi said on Sunday.

"Leaving all their work, people of Karnataka are glued to TV and mobiles watching the Dharmasthala issue. There's a need to put an end to it. There is nothing wrong in handing over the case to NIA to probe the conspiracy angle and uncover the truth," Jarkiholi told reporters here.

"The entire episode is pertaining to a village, not the country. It (case) has nothing to do with the Congress or Right-Left groups. The government constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the alleged mass burials in Dharmasthala following a court order," he clarified.

Replying to a query on Shivakumar reciting the RSS prayer in the Assembly, Jarkiholi said, "If one can become a CM by singing the RSS prayer, then Yadgir MLA Channareddi and I will recite it. Deputy CM D K Shivakumar knows Sanskrit. He has an uncanny knack of singing Sanskrit shlokas and recited one during a debate in the Assembly."
