Bengaluru: Ahead of this year’s SSLC board exams, the Department of Minority Welfare has issued notices to the head teachers at Moulana Azad Model Schools whose overall pass percentage was less than 73 per cent, the state average during 2024 board exams.

The notices have been issued to head teachers of 40 schools across the state demanding explanation for the same within a week of serving the notice.

The department has even warned of disciplinary action.

Meanwhile, notices have also been issued to six Morarji Desai Schools which failed to perform well in the 2024 SSLC examinations.
