Though the building was inaugurated way back in 1999, the building and its surrounding area has been covered with weeds due to lack of maintenance. The building, which was inaugurated by the then Higher Education Minister H G Govinde Gowda, is in a dilapidated condition as all windows and doors are damaged. The canteen was never utilised since its inaugural in 1999. Though the building was provided with electricity and water connections, all equipment now remain defunct.
