Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, he said the election process is already over in states like Punjab, Gujarat and Union Territories of Daman and Diu, and Pondichery. The process has begun in Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu. Karnataka unit is preparing itself for elections in 2010, he said.
After taking the leadership of Youth Congress at the national-level, AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi decided to usher in transperancy in the youth wing by conducting internal elections to the posts of office-bearers at various levels, Gowda said.
Criticising the State government for its present crisis, he said “the BJP has really shown that it is a party with difference”.
