A delegation led by Jaya Karnataka State Vice-President Jenniclus David and Kanataka Rakshana Vedike District President Teguru Jagadish met the Incharge DC Madan G Nayak and submitted a memorandum in this regard.

They said that centre has been working at the hospital for the past one year and it has been of great help to the patients. Further the corruption, lethargic attitude of officials etc has been brought under control by the centre.

“Doctors, officials, staff and others working in the hospital are finding it difficult to make money because the centre is keeping an eye on them. Hence they want the centre to be closed down,” they said and urged the District Administration not to succumb to any pressure. Leaders of Kannada organisations D K Vishwanath, Dakshinamurthy, Sathish Raj Aras among others were present.
