Pressure mounted on Maurishka Park Apartment Owners’ Association with 17 apartment owners demanding restoration of power supply to the flat of the couple Shantaram Prabhu and Veena Prabhu.
Damodar Shenoy, a relative of the couple, told DH that 17 owners had submitted a letter expressing their dismay with the owners’ association for disconnecting power supply to the flat as the couple had failed to pay maintenance fee in advance.
“The association should have resolved the issue amicably instead of resorting to the inhumane act of disconnecting power and back-up generator supply to the middle-aged couple’s flat,” opined, a member who had signed the letter.
