Owl visits Vidhana Soudha's Cabinet Hall

An owl became the centre of attraction at the Vidhana Soudha where it spent nearly 45 minutes perched atop the Cabinet Hall’s door on the third floor on Saturday morning. The Cabinet Hall is located right outside Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s chamber.

The owl was shooed away by painters working in the Cabinet Hall, but not before the staff took its pictures on their mobile phones. In January this year, an owl was spotted near the Vidhana Soudha’s eastern gate. In June last year, Siddaramaiah changed his official car after a crow was spotted sitting on its bonnet. A known rationalist, Siddaramaiah said he changed the car as it was old and not because he was superstitious.
