Janata Dal (Secular) national president H D Deve Gowda and Congress president Rahul Gandhi will take a decision on seat sharing for the Lok Sabha election, Public Works Minister H D Revanna said.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, he said the JD(S) and Congress will fight the election jointly. Now, the party high commands will decide on seat sharing, he added.
To a question on Charmadi Ghat development, the minister said that proposal is before the Central government. Once the permission is granted, works worth Rs 250 crore will be taken up, he said.
Revanna said that the inspection bungalow’s old building in the city will be demolished and a new building will be constructed at a cost of Rs 9 crore.
Tenders will be floated for the work shortly, he added.
