In a curious incident, an old woman entered a polling centre in the city and sought money from the polling officer to vote!
The old woman entered the polling booth and started asking money from the polling official. “Some people came to my neighbours’ house yesterday and gave her money to vote. If you give me money, I will vote too,” she said.
When polling officials declined to give her the money, she left the booth without exercising her franchise.
