Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday assured state government employees that the government would consider enhancing their salaries on a par with the central government employees.
The representatives of the State Government Employees’ Association met the chief minister and sought pay parity with their central government counterparts.
‘Will consider demand’
Siddaramaiah has assured them that he would shortly convene a meeting of the senior officers, including the chief secretary and the officers from the Finance department, to consider their demand. Association members will also be invited for the meeting.
