Speaking to mediapersons after visiting the affected areas in Santhur and Padabettu, the seer said, “I am convinced by the plight of people over here. The situation itself indicates that there is massive pollution and environmental disaster besides the lives of people being at risk. I am neither convinced nor satisfied with the clarifications given by the company officials. I am firm with my earlier decision to start an indefinite hunger strike by taking only mid-day meal everyday,” he added.
