The protest was led by District Committee President T H Aboobakar. They said state government is supporting Sri Rama Sene for its anti-national activities. The Sene must be banned in the country.

The Government should hand over the case of Pramod Muthalik who was caught on camera while reportedly accepting money to create communal violence during a sting operation carried out by Headlines Today—Tehelka’s investigation, for inciting communal violence in Karnataka, to CBI. The Government should be suspended for withdrawing all the cases against Muthalik, they added. The protestors took out a rally from Market premises to the DC’office. Later, they submitted a memorandum to Governor through DC.
