The officer, who is serving as a member of Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) currently, completed his research on ‘Social security programmes - a study of Chamarajanagar district’, under the guidance of Dr K V Aiyyanna.
His research has helped the state study the condition of unmarried women and announce pension to unmarried women Rs 1000. A Gandhian by values, Dr Krishna Prasad has served for long in revenue department and was known for innovative measures he adopted during his period.
