BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa, on Wednesday, alleged that the H D Kumaraswamy-led coalition government was tapping his phone, and also those of other BJP leaders.

Speaking in Bengaluru, Yeddyurappa charged that former chief minister Siddaramaiah’s phone was also being tapped.

Siddaramaiah is the chairman of the coordination and monitoring committee of the coalition government. Many of his recent political statements have not been received well by Chief Minister Kumaraswamy.

Yeddyurappa dared the government to order a high-level probe into the phone tapping charges.

He also predicted that the state government would collapse soon. Bickering between the coalition partners– Congress and JD(S), would bring down the government, he observed.

The BJP, however, would not destabilise the government, he assured.
