Speaking at a programme at Thungabhadra College in Tarikere, he said “India is a model to the world for its unity in diversity.” Teachers play a vital role in building a country. With quality education, unemployment problem can be solved in the country, he added.
He directed the officials to upgrade the Tarikere railway station and assured to take all measures to develop the Tarikere railway station. The members of the Block Congress urged the Minister to provide stopage to the Shimoga-Mysore intercity in Tarikere.
