Police arrest two: Tiger pelt, claws recovered

Police have arrested two people for illegally trying to sell a tiger pelt at Bevinakuppe, Pandavapura taluk on Thursday night.

Manoj and Ravi, both residents of Shikaripura, near Anuvaalu village in the taluk are the arrested. Tipped off by informers about a few individuals trying to sell the pelt at Bevinakuppe, police arrested the duo and seized a plastic bag.

The bag consisted of tiger pelt and tiger claws. A case has been registered at Pandavapura police station.
