Mangaluru: Police officials accompanying Congress leader Rajeev Gowda, arrested for issuing threats to Shidlaghatta City Municipal Council Commissioner Amrita Gowda, conducted 'Mahazar' process in and around the city on Thursday.
Rajeev after the ugly spat with the commissioner had gone into hiding. Shidlaghatta police Inspector Anand Kumar and his team conducted a Mahajar at entrepreneur Michael's farm house in Pachhanady on city's outskirts. Rajeev reportedly had sought shelter at Michael's farm house.
Rajeev who had issued threats Shidlaghatta City Municipal Council Commissioner for removing the illegal banner of Cult film was finally arrested in Kerala on January 26.
