The future seems to be not so rosy for this astrologer, particularly the palmist part of him, at least for the next couple of months.

The model code of conduct, which kicked in with the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections, has had a rather strange effect on the board outside the of Kanakadurga Jyothishya Mandira in Ashok Nagar of the city, run by Sathyanarayana Shastry.

Election officials, who noticed the palm picture
on the board, covered it
with a newspaper as the hand is the symbol of the Congress.

When contacted, assistant election officer M R Rajesh said, “There is no connection with the palm symbol and the Congress symbol. I will verify the reason for covering the board”.
