“The elections are not a referendum to the Government. However, the poll results will be an apt reply to the false allegations levelled by the Opposition parties against Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and the BJP government. The party will sweep the Panchayat elections this time,” said Eshwarappa in the City, on Monday.
“We will win the highest number of seats in at least 20 Zilla Panchayats, while in other ZPs we shall secure seats enough to be the principal Opposition party. The party will also win a majority of the seats in the 100 taluk panchayats,” said Eshwarappa.
