The full bench of the Election Commission of India (ECI) will arrive in Bangalore on a two-day visit on March 1 for an interaction with representatives of various political parties and also to review the preparedness of the administrative machinery ahead of the Assembly polls.
Chief Election Commissioner V S Sampath and H S Brahma, Syed Nasim Zaidi (both Election Commissioners) will hold discussions with representatives of parties the same evening, official sources said.
The next day, they will review the district-wise preparedness for the Assembly polls by holding interactions with jurisdictional deputy commissioners (DCs) and Superintendents of Police (SPs).
The panel will also review the preparation of voters’ list, the sources added.
