Members of the district unit of Association of Local Governance of India submitted an appeal to Tahsildar Susheelamma demanding action on people who misuse the pictures of women.
The members criticised political parties who superimposed pictures of women carrying bundles of hay with skimpily-clad women.
Action demanded
They demanded action against the political parties for indulging in such activities that demean women.
The members said they would submit appeals to the President, prime minister and chief minister.
