The speciality of the festival this year is that the Theerthodbhava is happening on the day of Dasara itself. Hence, people are expecting a unique and significant festive celebration with more devotees participation this year comparatively.

The district administration has made all the arrangements to provide necessary facilities to the devotees coming to Talacuvery and Bhagamandala. Deputy Commissioner K H Ashwathnarayana Gowda said that drinking water, temporary toilet blocks, parking, lighting and other necessary facilities have been made in both Talacauvery and Bagamandala region.

Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah and MLA M P Appachuranjan inspected the region on Friday to look at the preparations.

Security

Superintendent of Police Manjunath Annigeri said that two DySPs, four Circle Inspectors, 20 Sub Inspectors, 450 police personnel and 500 Home Guards will be deputed at Talacauvery and Bhagamandala for security.

Temple Heads Kodi Madaiah and Kodi Motaiah on Friday brought the jewellry used to embellish goddess Cauvery, from Bhagamandala to Talacauvery.
