Regretting that such an incident had taken place in the council, Bhagyamma said that the guilty will be prosecuted under the law.
Furthermore she said that the council is receiving regular complaints about the infrastructure projects, she said that an investigation about the quality of work will be undertaken.
She also asked the council members should express caution before making allegations and said a meeting would be held with members.
