BJP leader BJ Puttaswamy on Tuesday threatened to stage a dharna in front of the office of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) if it fails to file an FIR against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in connection with the denotification of 6.26 acres of BDA land near Hebbal in Bengaluru.

Puttaswamy, who is the state BJP Other Backward Classes (OBC) wing president, had accused the chief minister of being directly responsible for the denotification of land, the current market value of which is estimated at Rs 300 crore.

Puttaswamy said he will wait for one week. If the ACB does not file the FIR by then, he will launch a dharna. He also said he will file a case in court.
