A Scheduled Tribes convention will be organised by Congress in Karnataka in July and the party vice president Rahul Gandhi has agreed to address the rally, Small Scale Industries Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi said here on Wednesday.
Jarkiholi along with other ST leaders from the Congress, including Satish Jarkiholi, V S Ugrappa and B M Nagaraj attended the meeting convened by Rahul here to discuss the socio-economic status of the ST community in the state.
On his dispute with his brother and former minister Satish Jarkiholi, Ramesh said it would be resolved within the family.
“The party top brass strictly told us not to speak on this issue with the media and promised us that the dispute will be resolved amicably.”
