BJP spokesperson Anwar Manappady said on Monday that a mega rally would be held in Bengaluru on February 15, demanding that encroachment of Wakf properties be cleared.
Addressing reporters at the party office in the city, he said that a forum had been launched to fight against corruption in Wakf properties.
Manappady said protests were being held all districts where there has been encroachment of Wakf properties.
He said the State Wakf Board owns 55,000 acres of land, of which 33,000 acres have been encroached upon. The value of such land comes to around Rs 4 lakh crore, Manappady said.
