Ramegowda, Malagaththi to take charge again

IAS officer Ramegowda who was transferred from the post of deputy commissioner of Mysore ahead of Legislative Assembly elections is all set to return as the deputy commissioner.

He will be taking charge on June 6, at 10.30 am. Following directions from the election commission of India to effect the transfers of officers belonging to home districts and several other reasons, some of the officers including Ramegowda were transferred.
Ramegowda was replaced by IAS officer C Shikha. Ramegowda is currently serving as the additional director of Food and Civil Supplies department, Bangalore.

Similarly, senior police officer Basavaraj Y Malagaththi who was transferred from the post of DCP (law and order) Mysore will also be taking charge on June 6. IPS officer Shanthanu Sinha who had succeeded Malagaththi was transferred soon after the elections in the month of May.
