Former MLC Shantaveerappa Gowda who is a close associate of Chief Minister filed nomination as BJP candidate on Monday though the party has declared Siddaramanna as its official candidate. Shantaveerappa Gowda claimed that he strived for Yeddyurappa’s victory in Shikaripur Assembly segment all these years.
