Seer Vishveshvara Swamiji, Muddinakatte seer Siddaveera Shivacharya Swamiji, Sarpabhusha Mutt seer Mallikarjuna Swamiji launched a procession after offering a special pooja to the Rajagopura and 150 poornakumbha kalashas. The idol of Basaveshwara was taken in the procession on the main streets of the town with musical instruments accompanied by folk art troupes. Ganapathi Pooja, Punyaha, Panchakalasha, Navagraha, Mrutyunjaya, Ganahoma, Vastu Homa were performed.
