Hearing a petition by Harikrishna Punaroor, former Chairman, Kannada Sahitya Academy (KSA), the division bench headed by Justice V Gopala Gowda has ordered to name the camp after the wellknown writer and Jnanapeeetha awardee within four weeks.
The locals have been objecting to it stating that a portion of the 400 acres park has been named after the writer and there is no need for it as there are several monuments and parks named after him.
