The residents who staged protest under the banner of Civilians Welfare Forum alleged that the layout, even after ten years of formation, lacks proper water and roads.

The recent rains that lashed that the City have turned the roads virtually into ponds, they complained. Municipal Commissioner Ramdas, who came to spot was taken to task by the irate residents.

They insisted that the Commissioner should come to the layout to know about the poor state of affairs. “Tenders will be called to take up works on several roads in the City , next week. The roads in Palasandra extension will also be developed concurrently,” said the municipal  Commissioner, who visited the spot.
The residents blocked the traffic for over an hour. Additional Superintendent of Police S R Phaneendra Singh and other senior officers rushed to the spot to control the situation.

Forum leaders Krishna Reddy, Dr Narayanaswamy, Rajeshwari, K S Chandrashekhar and others took part in the protest.
