Residents of Nyamath B Dargah staged a protest at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Tuesday, complaining that their names are missing from the ward’s list and are included in different ward’s list.

The protest was led by Nau Jawan Samiti.

The protesters said that they belonged to Ward no 26 but their names are found in the Ward no 24, Section 77. “We have voted as the residents of Ward 26 during the 2007 election.

“It is not fair to include our names to Ward no 24 Keelukote,” they complained. They alleged political conspiracy in considering them as residents of Keelukote ward and urged to rectify the loopholes.

In spite of their appeal to reinclude their names in the Nyamath B Dargah, nothing has been done yet, they rued.
