Resignation yet to reach Raj Bhavan

Speaking with presspersons, Governor H R Bhardwaj said he would take necessary action after he receives the resignation from the Chief Minister, who is on a China tour. He refused to react to the minister’s resignation.

The Congress said many Cabinet members deserved to be dropped. Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah and KPCC President R V Deshpande said the Cabinet was filled with many tainted ministers. The Bellary ministers and D Sudhakar, against whom the CBI filed a chargesheet over a cheating case should also be dropped, they added.
