The squad has registered 44 cases and a fine of Rs 8,15,414 has been levied on the offenders. The squad by disposing 34 cases has recovered an amount of Rs 3.13 lakh from the consumers.
The chargesheet have been filed in the court against the offenders in 15 cases.
The places were raids were conducted are- Kolar taluk- Madhavagurjenahalli, Kalluru, Hoovalli, Jangamagurjenahalli, Arahalli, Suguturu, Chowdenahalli, Chikkavallabi, Bhatrahalli, Vemagal, Maliyappanahalli, Kadagatturu and Madderi; Kolar City- Mahalakshmi Layout, Jayanagar, C Byregowdana Nagar, Bhatrahalli and Ambedkar Nagar; Malur taluk-Shwanathapura, Malur town, Masti, Agraharahosahalli, Vadaganahalli and Shivarapatna; Mulbagal taluk- Shivanarahalli and K Shettihalli and Bangarpet taluk’s Parandahalli.
The squad was lead by SP Jayakumar and DySP Mallesh. The team members are Inspector K V Krishnappa and staff Venkatkrishna, Dwarakanath, Krishne Gowda, Bheemaiah, Prakash and others.
