The raids were conducted in Ashoknagar, Swaminathapuram, Susaipalyam, and Chattiguttahalli in the outskirts since the last one week and recovered materials used for making illicit liquor.
The two accused women are said to Elizebath, 62 and Parimala, 55. The accused have been remanded to judicial custody.
Circle inspector L M Chavan, inspectors Chandrappa, Nagendrappa and staff participated in the raid.
Teenager missing
An 18-year-old girl, who is staying in Noorunnisa Educational Institution hostel, has been missing for the last two days.
The warden of the hostel has filed a complaint with the Town’s Anderson Police Station.
