Bengaluru: Days after a farmer was mauled to death by a tiger in Mysuru district, the forest minister has ordered notice to forest officers for not visiting the site soon after.
Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre, who happened to be in Mysuru, was gheroed when he visited KR Hospital to pay respects to the victim.
In a note to the principal secretary of the department, Khandre asked why no senior officer visited the victim.
