The third JMF Court has rejected the bail plea of television reporter Naveen Soorinje, who was arrested in connection with the ‘Morning Mist’ home stay attack.

Listening to the arguments from both the sides, Judge Renuka Devidas Raikar, held the argument of the public prosecutor who claimed that Naveen should not be released on bail as he needs to be investigated further in connection to the incident.

The court has rejected the plea as a Public Interest Litigation (PIL)  which has been filed in the Karnataka High Court seeking the bail, too is in the hearing stage.
Naveen Soorinje  was arrested on November 7.
