Bengaluru: Food and Civil Supplies Minister K H Muniyappa will visit different places in Bengaluru on Tuesday and assess the progress of the state-wide survey of Scheduled Castes (SCs).
Muniyappa is expected to visit localities such as Sanjaynagar, Byatarayanapura, Yeshwantpur, Malleshwaram and Palace Guttahalli.
The survey is being overseen by retired judge H N Nagamohan Das, who heads the commission that will decide on internal reservation for SCs. The door-to-door enumeration, the deadline for which was extended twice, will end on May 29.
