Mysuru Police Commissioner K T Balakrishna has ordered Section 144 of CrPC in the city, excluding Town Hall, on Monday.
The prohibition has been imposed to maintain law and order as a host of organisation called protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act near Town Hall, in the city.
Political parties and Dalit organisations have called the protest at noon.
