District in-charge Minister S T Somashekar said that Opposition party leader Siddaramaiah, who demanded an account of donations made for Ram Mandir, might himself have donated funds for the cause but he is not revealing it in public.

Speaking to reporters, Somashekar said that Siddaramaiah has no issues to target the BJP government with, as the government has been functioning successfully, and thus raising the Ram Mandir issue.

Somashekar said that every house in the state, irrespective of caste, creed, political party are donating funds. "There is full transparency in the fundraising event," he said.
