The members of Janadni and other organisations who assembled near Azad circle, collected signatures of the public in a 10 meter length cloth and submitted it to the Deputy Commissioner.

The members took an oath saying, “We would not involve in corruption. We would raise our voice against any activity related to corruption.” The members then demanded Deputy Commissioner Dr N S Channappa Gowda to forward their request letter to the Prime Minister.

The protesters urged for the effective formation of the Bill in such a way that the Bill shall enable to take action against the corrupt politicians and the bureaucrats.
The Lokayukta too should be granted with higher power on the similar lines of strengthening the Lokpal Bill, they urged.
