VHP International President Ashok Singhal said Hindus are peace loving people and abjure violence of any kind. “Public opinion and cooperation from all Indians is needed to construct the Rama temple at Ayodhya. If the verdict turns out to be in favour of the Muslims the Hindus would revolt and if the verdict is ruled in favour of the Hindus the Muslims would revolt. It is a very sensitive situation and needs to be handled carefully,” observed Singhal.

Rama was born in Ayodhya, hence Hindus consider this as the most holy place in India. They will create awareness about the same in every nook and corner of the nation and then finally seek justice from the Supreme Court, he added.

“During the next three months we will carry out a massive information campaign from Kashmir to Kanyakumari,” said Singhal.

The Abhiyan is being organised in the City at the Anjaneya Swamy Temple, near Marathalli Bridge.

Singhal later visited Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam’s headquarters in Bidadi on Tuesday here, and expressed his full support for Nithyananda, the self-styled godman who was in the news recently for the alleged sex romp with Tamil actor Ranjitha.
