Talking to press persons during his visit to meet former MLA B B Shivappa at his farm house in Kumbarahalli in the taluk, he said that Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa has entrusted this job to him keeping in view development of Hassan district.
Importance will be given to good roads, improved under ground drainage works in the next six months.
He sought co-operation from former MLA B B Shivappa and former MLC B R Gurudev in the development of district.
On the occasion, BJP leaders B R Gurudev and B B Shivappa announced to provide all support to V Sommanna to build the party from grass root level.
District BJP President Dr Sundar, Taluk BJP President Hongadahalla Dharmaraj and others BJP leaders of the taluk were present.
