Vijayapura, DHNS: Suspecting the involvement of Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, a prominent RSS leader, in Dharmasthala case, former minister and Congress leader Vinay Kumar Sorake said that Bhat 'instigated' Hindutva leader Mahesh Shetty Thimrodi to raise his voice against the alleged mass burials in temple town.

Speaking to reporters here, Sorake, also the KPCC Publicity Committee president, said, "Prabhakar Bhat is pinching the baby and then rocking the cradle. Bhat who is known for stoking communal tensions with his inflammatory speeches in the coastal area, was conspicuous by his absence at the Dharmasthala Chalo rally organised by BJP last week. Why did Prabhakar Bhat skip the BJP legislators protest rally?, Sorake sought to know.

"The Congress party, the government and the CM have no role in the Dharmasthala case. The government constituted the SIT following the court direction. Even Dharmadhikari Veerendra Heggade has welcomed the decision (to constitute SIT). The investigation is underway and the truth will come out," he said.

He equated Yatnal to Muthalik saying that the Bijapur City MLA is trying to become one more Muthalik when it comes to disturbing communal harmony, he said and added that the state government will not let their experiments be successful.
