Woman and child welfare deputy director Vijayalakshmi Shenoy inaugurated the programme.
District disabled welfare officer Neerabidire Narayana said: “Such programmes will be held for physically challenged children at all three taluk level.
It will be held at Somwarpet on December 1 and Ponnampet on December 2. World Disabled Day will be observed in Madikeri on December 3.”
Madikeri taluk CDPO A M Madappa said 50 metre and 100 metre race, breaking the pot, picking cereals, shotput, singing, and other programmes have been organised for children.
