The South Western Railway (SWR) will operate special trains between Yeshwantpur and Karwar to accommodate the increased passenger demand during Christmas and New Year.
Train number 06267 will leave Yeshwantpur at noon on December 24 and 27, and reach Karwar at 6.10 am the following day.
The return service, train number 06268, will depart from Karwar at noon on December 25 and 28, and arrive at Yeshwantpur at 4.30 am the next day.
The trains will stop at Chikkabanavara, Kunigal, Channarayapatna, Hassan, Sakleshpur, Subrahmanya Road, Kabakaputtur, Bantawal, Surathkal, Mulki, Udupi, Barkur, Kundapura, Byndoor, Bhatkal, Murdeshwar, Honnavar, Kumta, Gokarna Road and Ankola.
