Addressing media persons here on Thursday, Chairman of Bava Social and Charitable Foundation Mohiudeen Bava said that the temples and mosques in the two states have been requested to hold special prayers on Friday.
Meanwhile he said that the churches have been asked to hold prayers on Sunday, for the victims of the great tragedy and their families. “We should involved ourselves in the pain of the grieving families and support them,” said Fr Denis Moras Prabhu talking about the special Sunday’s mass which will be organised on May 30.
The religious leaders also appreciated the work of local people who selflessly volunteered in the rescue operations. He also said that the schools across the two states will also observe a minute’s silence to pay tribute to the victims of Saturday’s air crash.
