The State Government Employees’ Association, on Wednesday, urged the Official Pay Committee to submit its report to the government by February 25, so that its recommendations could be incorporated in the 2012-13 budget.
“The Committee was given nine months’ time to submit its report. The deadline ends on February 16. However, the committee is yet to finalise the report,” Association president L Byrappa said .
The Association will hold the executive committee meeting on February 25 and 26 in Bangalore. If the committee fails to submit its report, the executive committee will decide the next course of action, he added.
The government had set up the committee headed by Additional Chief Secretary Subir Hari Singh.
