Vinod Mada, Sundar Salian, Vijaya V Prabhu, Jagnath Salian, Chandrashekar Kamath and Pramod Kumar filed nominations for General Standing Committee and were elected unanimously. Sundar Gowda, Jayashree Kodandur, Bhagirati, Tungappa Bangera, Sathish Bhandary and Venkat Dambekodi were elected as members of Finance, Audit and Project Standing Committee.
Likewise, Krishna Shetty Kadaba, Venkat Dambekodi, Shivanna Gowda Idyadi, Shayana Jayananda, Bhagirati, Gopal and Shaila Sequira form the Standing Committee for Social Justice.
Education/Health standing committee has Shahul Hameed, Emilda Pinto, Vijaya Prabhu, Shayana Jayananda, Triveni Karunakar Pervodi, Rajashri Hegde and Sucharita Shetty in it.
Agriculture and Industrial Standing Committee has Krishna Amin, Anita Hemanth, Satish Nayak, Asha Thimmappa Gowda, Triveni Karunakar Pervodi, Sadananda Malli and Sushma Janardhan.
District-in-Charge Minister Krishna J Palemar, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLC Ganesh Karnik, MLAs N Yogish Bhat and Mallika Prasad remained absent during the discussion that preceeded the election. However, they took part in the election procedure.
