Minister for Health and Family U T Khader said the State government will provide 108 Arogya Kavacha services, even if the staff of the services start an agitation from January 23.

He told reporters, “We will not budge to the pressure tactics of the Arogya /kavacha employees.”

The Karnataka Rajya Arogya Kavacha (108) Naukarara Sangha has been demanding overtime wages for workers for additional hours of work.

The employees are being paid by the GVK EMRI organisation which is operating the ambulance services in the Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode.
